In-home supports Household tasks
NDIS Household Tasks and Domestic Assistance in the Sunshine Coast
Cleaning, laundry, shopping and meals, so the house runs the way you want it to. Done with you where you want to build the skill, done for you where you do not.

The jobs that pile up
When energy, mobility or executive function is limited, the house is usually the first thing to slide. Dishes, laundry, bins, the shopping. None of it is dramatic and all of it makes everything else harder.
Household task support is the plan’s answer. It is funded where your disability makes the task hard, and it can be done for you, or with you if what you want is to get better at it yourself. Most people want a mix.
The worker is the same person each time, and knows where things go.

Questions about household support
Is this just cleaning?
It can be, if that is what you need. But it is funded because your disability makes the task hard, so it can also be about building the skill, or about a worker doing the parts you cannot and leaving the rest to you.
Does the NDIS fund household tasks?
Yes, under Assistance with Daily Life, where the need is related to your disability. What is funded depends on your plan; we help you understand what yours covers.
Can the same worker do personal care and household tasks?
Usually, yes, and it is often better that way. One person who knows you and the house, on one longer shift.
How often?
Weekly or fortnightly are most common. It depends on your plan and what you need kept on top of.
What slides first in your week?
Tell us. We will start there.
