In-home supports Personal care
NDIS Personal Care Support in the Sunshine Coast
Showering, dressing, grooming and continence support, done respectfully, at your pace, by a worker you have met.

The most personal support there is
Personal care means help with the things most people do alone: showering, dressing, toileting, grooming. It is the support where the worker matters most, because it is impossible to do well with a stranger.
So you meet the worker first, you can say no, and the same person comes each time with a backup you have also met. We ask how you want things done and we write it down, so it is not relearned by someone new.
Workers are trained and their qualifications verified by us. Manual handling, continence care and medication assistance are done properly or not at all.

Where we work
Across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay
The same team and the same approach wherever you are. If you are just outside these areas, ask us. We will say yes or no.
Dignity
You set the terms. Every time.
How, when, who and what is said in the room. None of that is decided for you.
- Meet the worker before the first shift
- Preferences written down and followed
- The same worker, with a backup you have met
- Say no to anyone, at any point

Questions about personal care
Can I request a male or female worker?
Yes. Tell us, and it is honoured. This is not a preference we negotiate.
What if I am embarrassed?
Most people are at first. Meeting the worker beforehand and having the same person each time is what changes that. It gets ordinary faster than people expect.
Are your workers trained in manual handling?
Yes, and we verify it. Where a participant needs hoisting or specific transfer techniques, the worker is trained for that before they start.
What are the shift times?
Mornings and evenings are the most common. We build around your day, and we avoid very short shifts because rushed personal care is bad personal care.
Tell us how you like things done.
That is where it starts.
